The game doesn't work, It's just a black screen.

Make sure you play it on a PC with a windows

It works now, thanks

Your series is a masterpiece. Very few games keep me thinking about it long after I finished playing it. I love this series so much. Thank you.

compared to the first game, the lore felt like it had a glow up despite continuing from the first game. the different routes were fun to play and the different interactions with tuck were nice to. not only that u also established the art style for the sprites which was smth i didnt understand with the first game and every character having a different art style 8/10. also the true ending made me feel bad for mirall.

Ah, real nice. This feels much better than part one, considering the choices matters more and gets you to different ending routes. Speaking of which, I was actually enjoying Nessrine's, but of course, a malevolent temporal entity just has to ruin it. Can't have nice things, I guess.

Oh, and please tell me Hassan did go to an airport and got in trouble. The more that guy embarrasses  himself, the more I can't help but love him.

if a death game didnt stop hassan then airport security wont

lol that's true

Played it again, good memories lol

The Happiness series beat the average overrated romcom(at least in my views, looking at you "rent a girlfriend" and the quintuplets one!!)

Well, also i think i found some bugs and more(spoiler):

.

.

.

In "Dina path", in the flashback of playing hide and seek, if you reply with "Nod" after Dina ask you if you know to play hide and seek, the text box disappears in all the next dialogues(didn't check completely but it continued even after the park scene

And idk if it was intentional but when MC is shoked and the screen becomes darker the "dark borders" appear as a mossaic instead of just as a frame

I wonder what happened to hassan, but i guess he got dragged into "Existence"

Also myster cynical really insist on forgetting nessrine name💀

wanted to paste Nessrine face but it was funnier this way 💀.

1-Oh, the Dina thing was a bug, the game didn't show text but it was easy to fix and the game is being updated as I speak. The MC shocking thing is not a bug and it's an intentional visual effect.

2-The early games of the series have ''romantic comedies'' aspects to them but I won't call the series a rom-com. It's too serious and explicit to fit the genre.

Rom-coms don't usually have this many head decapitation and deaths.

Still while working on this remaster I noticed how different this game is compared to recent games. Everything feels less stressful here, everyone is in high school and character dialogue feels like high schoolers talking which made me pleasantly surprised because I always felt I dropped the ball while working on this game back in 2020 so maybe past me didn't do too bad of a job except with the grammar.

3-Depending on player choice, Hassan either forces his way into the girl-only ballet club, slams down a judo club girl, or assaults airport security. Either way, I'm guessing he spent a few days in jail which is fitting considering what happens in his spinoff game.

He didn't get sent into the ''Existence'' world because he shows up again in '' A Happiness Story'' talking about starting a Milker group.

4- lol Poor otaku girl but at least she got a route dedicated to her, unlike Anya who got her route scraped from this game.

As expected, the game is buggy. My saves are still connected with happiness 1 and the old saves from happiness 2 are 'not found'. While it is understandable as you did lost your access to the files a long ago, I feel a bit disappointed? from it. Not really as I was only annoyed losing my save files, hah. That thief really didn't do his job.

The grammars are lined up nicely and I haven't seen any error of it so far. Overall, it's a great remastered. The new game page lured me in as well.

Spoilers -

Happiness Mc's childhood friend, Dina was a interesting character that I forgot to mention before the remastered.

First of all why does she call her Happy?

I've been saving up this question since the beginning, why does all of the Mc except for Butterfly always pretend to forget Nessrine's name?

P.S I still don't trust any Tucks in my neighborhood.

1-The game is not buggy, this remastered version is completely remade. Your saves from the old non-remastered version won't work here. This remastered version is mainly for new players who haven't played the game before.

You can always press the 'CTRL'' button to skip through parts of the story.

2- She calls him ''Happy'' because she wants him to stop being gloomy and sad and find his happiness instead ( she's a kid operating with kid logic)

3- It's a running joke in the series to forget Nessrine's name or at least pretend to.

Buggy Windows.

A good logic to use.

That was a effective joke, I had to go on the other game just to confirm if I got the name right.
