wonder how would the MC develop in this time line, it seems to be the happiest, even without Mirall going back to meet him.

mc is wondering why this person they never met named nessrine is sending them letters

๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜‚ Luckily she starts all her letters with Hello Senpai

Spoilers:

Is this just a loop forever between Mirall asking the story and u telling it?

Yes it's a loop

Good game, was kinda short but good, maybe is not that "hooking" or interesting if you have not played the other games, the "letters" format was new but a bit interesting. 7/10 i think

it kinda starts a bit slow, getting close to be boring but it kinda gets better later, btw the UI doesn't help,(tried to unbias the most i could, maybe im biased bc of the other games) but i understand you work alone, and maybe with a good UI your games can be very good or get more recognised. well, i won't make this longer

the art/small animation of the MC running to the train station surprised me, and kinda make it more interesting, hooking and emotional, or idk how to say it. As in your other games there were not "much" animations lol

End of my review lol, just my opinion

Now:

Man MC having a bunch of girls drooling over him and not realising it.

So Carmine was right that he could make a harem... /s

(i forgor in what game(or timeline) she said that, but i remember she said sth like that).

I kinda think that girl "Lisa" is a "Null", she has the "snake" or lizard thing in her hair, as the Nulls have. Tell me if i'm wrong, or better don't tell me and leave it like to interpretation or idk if it is relevant lol. Btw i almost bursted when making the MC end with Lisa and the "legal loli" bad ending thing popped.

now outside of the comment of the game.

I realised you kinda grew fast in followers, in like 2-3 weeks you almost duped your followers(i started following you too during that time lol). So congratulations.

Also that maybe you can "update" 'Null' game or do a remake or bigger version as it is not part of the timelines itself,  "that 'game' happened" but is not stated what happened during it in the other games, just the main plot. It is like your biggest game and is like it can be a thing on its own, both contributing to the lore and not being in a "fixed" state, so it allows to be expanded. But still, it is a good game the way it is

1-Haha just like the book this game concept is inspired by, it starts boring then gets super interesting.

2-There is only so little I can do regarding the UI right now. I'm no UI designer, my specialty is storytelling and character design ( in fact right now I'm focusing on making a white hair character that actually looks good because white hair characters are my favorite but I can't seem to design them well enough. )

3- Yeah the running scene is my personal favorite. I repeated it so many times just because of how expressive it is. you can see in the MC's expression how hard he struggles to go against his cynical passive nature. He is not just running against the wind but against himself too.

4- I think Carmine mentioned the haram thing in ''Happiness 2'' when you start her route.

5- Lisa's identity is explored in ''Zero One'' (the closest new game to be released) and the snake thing is addressed in like the first minute of the game. Not sure if I should say if she is a Null or not but she will have a major impact on the series.

6- Once I did consider doing a DLC to ''Null'' or something but the game is complete. Anything I add to it will feel cheap. The effect of what happened in that game will show in future games (Even ''Zero One'' show a little effect of that game)

I can do a remake to ''Null'' with newer characters and longer loops but I will just be like rockstar releasing GTA5 on every platform or even worse Bethesda and their re-release of Skyrim on every platform and fridge . I really do miss the exciting times when I was working on ''Null'' and being so excited to see others play it. Even working on it, I knew it will be well received but living in the past is kinda sad so I prefer to spend my little free time every day working on newer games. I think maybe with enough passion and creativity I can make a game to surpass ''Null'' ( Metal gear solid reference)

A big difference yet it still have the similarities and 'Happiness'. Just as they mentioned that no matter how similar a time branch is, it can't be the same.

It does feel a bit lacking as I wasn't able to see CC but I guess it isn't that bad as I see her letters, very cute indeed.

You've done a great job for having a short yet passionate game. Time to wait for more games.

Thank you , glad you enjoyed it. Yeah , it been a long time since I worked on a game that actually had the possibility of getting a ''happy ending'' and judging by the current state of the other games I'm working on happy endings are in short supply haha.

(+1)

Now that you've mentioned it, most of your games is a sequel of another or so. This is the only thing that had a ending itself.

(+1)

Yeah, it's the only downside for making a long branching story with arcs and tons of characters, every ending is a beginning.

That said 2 of the games I'm working on now ( Zero One and Writing destiny) have their own ending just like this game and at the same time they add to the main story ( for example Zero One has information about what happened to ''Zero'' after she became a normal human), The reason I chose to do that is because the main story is nearing its end and the final game in the series is approaching faster than I expected.

(1 edit)

Ah yes, Zero is one of the mystery within this series. It would be nice to see how CC and Zero got in contact at the first place or maybe I just missed it. I'll be looking forward to that game and more of that 'girl' in this Time letter
