So today I want talk about something I hinted at a lot.

The real people who inspired the Happiness characters.

Due to lack of time , today I'll just talk about the characters who appeared in Happiness 1 and Happiness 2.

1-Alright, let's start with the ally of all men "Hassan"

Unlike the character Hassan , I met the real Hassan all the way back in middle school. In term of personality I would say the real one and the character are very similar.

They both were on the hunt for a girlfriend and the two failed miserably. The real Hassan did get a girlfriend back in late middle school but I think he just did it because it was the cool thing back then.

He would say some very idiotic stuff about buying her a ring or being in love after only meeting her for a month and their relationship ended with her slapping him in public because of something he said.

Truly something I would imagine the character Hassan going through.

After high school ended I lost contact with the real Hassan but the last thing I heard he was living in France somewhere.

2- Next let's talk about the Otaku girl ( Nessrine), in the games it's hinted that the MC met her when he was forced to join the literature club but when it comes to the real Otaku girl I actually met her back in elementary school.

Yeah back when we we're kids. She was a pretty odd girl if I remember correctly. Like for example she had no consideration for the term " personal space". Everytime I talked to her she would get super close to my face to the point our bodies touch. Needless to say that stirred all kind of weird feelings in little kid me lol

But anyway I met her again in middle school. She hasn't changed much and were super cheerful. She was also very popular with boys ( I wonder why) and real Hassan tried to hit on her many times lol 

Around high school I lost touch with her so no idea where and what is she doing now. My guess is she is married somewhere and has a family.

3- Next is the real Carmine, yes the heroine of the series is also based on a real person. In term of looks the real Carmine and character Carmine are identical but in term of personality they are very different. The real Carmine was a very cheerful girl who loved teasing people and making friends but she did have a surprisingly deeper side when you get to know her well.

But in term of waifu material real Carmine is definitely not a good choice haha 

I lost contact with the real Carmine a few years after high school ended so no idea what she is doing now. If I have to guess I think she is married working somewhere.

4- okay now to my least favorite character "Anya", I met the real Anya back in middle school . She was the principal daughter and was generally a pretty popular girl. In term of looks and personality I think she is pretty much the same as the character but real Anya is less annoying and condescending I guess.

5- now to talk about my favorite character "Mirall". 

Haha just kidding , Mirall isn't based on anyone . Mirall is well Mirall.

6-Jumping to Butterfly next , he is also not based on anyone real .

7- T's on the other hand is based on a college friend of mine. Their looks are identical and even some parts of their personality. It's kinda an inside joke between us to always base an evil character on him like for example the character "Tuck" in " existence" is also based on him and many other characters in my old web novels. 

At first he would get annoyed by this but I think with time he grew to accept his role lol 

I'm still in contact with him through social apps but we live in different cities so we only meet like twice a year.

8- and finally we have the childhood friend "Dina", when it comes to the real Dina I actually only met her in high school so she is not a childhood friend. She was a very popular girl in our school and for good reason she was extremely beautiful and I don't mean the beautiful girl who always wear makeup and fashionable clothes , no I mean she was super beautiful just because she was super beautiful.

Every guy had a crush on her , even some of the girls lol 

And just like the character , real Dina did get number 1 when the guys did a  secret popularity poll of who's the hottest girl in school. ( I voted for real Carmine....I think)

I tried to base the character looks on real Dina but even I didn't get to capture her real beauty so I deeply apologize for that.

Anyway I did try to hit on real Dina back then but sadly only caught the attention of her overweight friend ( life is too cruel)

I suppose these are all the characters that appeared in Happiness 1& 2 . There are others characters in the the other games of the series who have real people behind their inspiration but that would have to wait until next time .
