If you have been playing the recent games in the series then you are well aware of how important the SYSTEM plot is to the series now.

But did you know that it has been present since very early in the series?

In existence (RPG) in the first dream the white-haired mysterious girl says '' beware of the man with keys '' which is a hint that the true villain is the entity controlling the game.

Also in Existence (RPG) if you choose to read the book in your room at the inn you get to read a story about the first people of Existence and how they went mad in some sort of an epidemic.

What isn't mentioned is the reason for their illness which was the fact they became self-aware due to a certain incident and therefore were wipe d by the SYSTEM.

In ''Goodbye Time Traveler'', it was CC who first hinted at the ''Zero one truth '' which wasn't fully explored until the game ''Zero One''.

I have been wanting to introduce the ''SYSTEM'' plot all the way back in Happiness 2 but back then the series was already dealing with so many confusing concepts that going meta would have just turned the series into pure chaos.

''Legacy'' represents the first game of the final arc of the series as we head into the finish line.

Soon the series will end and all will be answered.

So the only real question right now is which characters will live to see the end.
