For a first playthrough, I would recommend playing the current versions found in my profile and once you finish the series and want more ''Happiness'' then you can check out the non-remastered versions.
The Happiness forever is a very nice touch, I almost forgot it exists haha
The round portal in this game and the thing like a portal under construction on the webpages of non-remastered Divinity and Time letter look similar to the stargate in the Stargate series.

This game has 2 endings. If you got both endings then you can jump to the next game in the series.
gotcha, I bought the bundle so I figured they were all the same story but wasn't sure if the first game was over or not.

Divinity webpage gate = Stargate SG1, Reeva remastered gate = Stargate Atlantis.
I had to Google how it looks and you are right it does look very similar.
Speaking of similar I noticed some few comments of yours regarding a reskin game of mine and I wanted to let you know I already gave them permission .
Infact any fan games or fan sequels is completely fine by me
